As some of you may know, Aeleath is "Mah boy". We talk a lot, and I had no idea this piece was coming. So I scroll down to look at the comments. Then, it hits me...The name.
Honestly, Icarus? The first person to comment on this critique and tell me the link between this piece and the word "Icarus" gets a llama badge. I personally believe a name like "Falling" or "Gravitational pull towards the earth" would've been more fitting. This is because I get the feeling that the render is being pulled towards me. Do I get the feeling that this resembles a greek god? No.
You might ask, "Well gee Futurology, it's just a name why does it matter?" Names are what emotionally attaches me to the piece. if the name sucks, I won't even look at it. That's just me. I even refuse to look at some of my own art, because of the badly chosen titles. Names are EVERYTHING.
ThIs is a BrillianT piece of woRk, hOwever the LikeLINess of me ever Getting over the whole name thing is very low indeed.
