Icarus

K. I'm gonna wrap this up quickly because it pains me to say it. When I first saw this piece, I was like woah, this guy's put a lot of heart and soul into this one. I looked at it for like half an hour straight man, visually it's beautiful.

As some of you may know, Aeleath is "Mah boy". We talk a lot, and I had no idea this piece was coming. So I scroll down to look at the comments. Then, it hits me...The name.

Honestly, Icarus? The first person to comment on this critique and tell me the link between this piece and the word "Icarus" gets a llama badge. I personally believe a name like "Falling" or "Gravitational pull towards the earth" would've been more fitting. This is because I get the feeling that the render is being pulled towards me. Do I get the feeling that this resembles a greek god? No.

You might ask, "Well gee Futurology, it's just a name why does it matter?" Names are what emotionally attaches me to the piece. if the name sucks, I won't even look at it. That's just me. I even refuse to look at some of my own art, because of the badly chosen titles. Names are EVERYTHING.
